A un anno esatto dai tragici attentati che hanno sconvolto Parigi il 13 Novembre dello scorso anno, il Bataclan (in cui avevano perso la vita 93 persone che stavano assistendo al concerto degli Eagles Of Death Metal) ha riaperto i battenti e l’inaugurazione è toccata a Sting. L’ex Police ha iniziato il live con un minuto di silenzio in memoria delle vittime, eseguendo poi brani estratti dal suo nuovo album “57TH & 9TH” e altri dall’intera sua carriera da solista e con i Police. Questo il messaggio di Sting al riguardo: “In re-opening the Bataclan, we have two important tasks to reconcile. First, to remember and honour those who lost their lives in the attack a year ago, and second to celebrate the life and the music that this historic theatre represents. In doing so we hope to respect the memory as well as the life affirming spirit of those who fell. We shall not forget them”.
