Stanno per tornare i catanesi Uzeda: a tredici anni di distanza dal precedente “Stella” (2006), infatti, il prossimo 12 Luglio uscirà per Overdrive/Temporary Residence Ltd. Quocumque Jeceris Stabit, il loro nuovo lavoro in studio registrato ancora una volta sotto la direzione di Steve Albini. Qui in basso il messaggio con cui gli Uzeda hanno annunciato il disco e un breve teaser diffuso tramite i canali social della band:
A Gennaio , presso Sotto il Mare recording studios di Luca Tacconi, durante una master class di Steve, ideata, promossa e realizzata da Sound by Side, abbiamo registrato un nuovo disco. E’ stata una registrazione insolita e un’esperienza umana bellissima. Il disco si chiama “Quocumque jeceris stabit” e sarà pubblicato a Luglio da Overdrive in Italia e da Temporary Residence Ltd. nel resto del mondo. Grazie con tutto il cuore a Steve, Temporary Residence, Overdrive, Sound by Side, Sotto il Mare recording studios e ai ragazzi che hanno partecipato alla masterclass con attenzione e discrezione.
In January we recorded a new album, at Sotto il Mare recording studios, during a master class conducted by Steve, and conceived, promoted and realized by Sound by Side. It was an unusual recording and a beautiful human experience. The album is called “Quocumque jeceris stabit” and will be published in July by Overdrive in Italy and by Temporary Residence in the rest of the world.
