Affermata poetessa e attivista, Kate trova il proprio sfogo attraverso le rime. Porta con sé il disagio di una ragazza nata e cresciuta nei sobborghi londinesi, e non a caso pubblica questo Let Them Eat Chaos a pochi mesi dal referendum sulla Brexit (“Europe is lost, America is lost, London lost. Still we are clamouring victory. All that’s meaningless rules. We have learned nothing from history”). Questo disagio viene qui trasformato in rabbia, nel vedere un mondo che sta degenerando, governato solamente da soldi e superficialità (“Massacres massacres, new shoes”, ancora in Europe Is Lost). Per Tempest sono quindi le singole scelte individuali l’unica cura per questo (dis)ordine mondiale malato e l’unica promessa di un futuro per le generazioni a venire.
