Messa da parte l’esperienza con i The Good, The Bad & The Queen e in stand by con Blur e Gorillaz, Damon Albarn ha annunciato oggi il progetto The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows, che lo vedrà in tour il prossimo anno (niente Italia, al momento) insieme a un ensemble che metterà insieme strumentazione orchestrale, elettronica e pianoforte, oltre alla sua voce. L’intero progetto è ispirato ai paesaggi islandesi, come dichiarato dallo stesso Albarn. Qui in basso le date del tour e il post Instagram con cui è arrivato l’annuncio:
